20201001&02&03 - FDMJ RIT Training
The Fire Department of Mt. Juliet Hosted a three day class on R.I.T. (Rapid Intervention Team) open to all FDMJ members as well as The City of Lebanon and Wilson County EMA firefighters. The instruction was provided by P.L. Vulcan Fire Training Concepts, LLC. consisting of instructors from New York, Connecticut, and Kentucky.
Day 1 consisted of classroom instruction. Days 2 & 3 consisted entirely of hands-on training at the West Wilson Middle School, which received significant damage when it was impacted by a tornado on March 3rd, 2020. The building is slated to be demolished and rebuilt, so the location was able to be used as a 'school' once again.
