Numerous Law Enforcement agencies and Fire Departments teamed up to be part of something no one should ever have to experience.
Family and friends of slain Metro Nashville Police Officer John Anderson received an escort from their home in North Carolina all the way down Interstate 40 to Nashville for their loved one's funeral.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol took the lead, and officers from Cities and Counties along the route joined the procession. Additional officers, deputies, troopers, and firefighters would line overpasses to show their support.
Officer Anderson's Visitation and Memorial Service will be Tomorrow, July 8th 2019, at Cornerstone Church, 726 W. Old Hickory Boulevard, in Madison.
