20180528 - City of Mount Juliet - Memorial Day Ceremony
East Division Street @ North Mount Juliet Road - Field of Flags - The West Wilson County
Exchange Club and The American Legion Post 821 hosted the 6th annual Display of Flags in a field adjacent to the Mount Juliet Train Depot.
Volunteers worked together and posted hundreds of flags which could be sponsored or purchased in honor of a service member that made the supreme sacrifice for their country.
On the third day of the display, Memorial Day, the flags that had been purchased could be picked up, and the remaining flags would be taken down following a closing ceremony.
During the ceremony, State Representative Susan Lynn (R) and Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto, and Don Wright of the Exchange Club gave remarks. Dignitaries from the city and county government and Mrs. Wilson County / Mrs. Tennessee were recognized and thanked for their attendance.
