On the morning of January 5th, the Glen Cove Fire Department Rescue Company assembled in quarters and headed out into sub-freezing temperatures for an Ice Rescue Drill. The members were outfitted in Mustang Cold water and Ice Rescue Suits, and practiced approaching and rescuing a person who had fallen through the ice. After several evolutions, they packed it up and headed back to the station for some good ole' home cooked Ziti and Meatballs!
