Glen Cove Ave and Charles Street - Mayor Ralph V. Suozzi and the Glen Cove City Council dedicated Charles Street and renamed it "First Responder Way", Dedicated to the memory of James A. Hall, who was a Glen Cove Firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice while operating at a fire in 1975. To date, his death is only Line of Duty Death in the history of the Glen Cove Fire Dept.
