20200823 - Unincorporated Mount Juliet - Vandalism
2060 Old Lebanon Dirt Road - On the morning of August 23, 2020, a deputy from the Wilson County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Global Vision Bible Church following a complaint of vandalism.
Upon the deputy's arrival, he made contact with Pastor Gregory Locke who stated that during the overnight hours, an unknown subject entered onto the property and defaced multiple surfaces with orange spray paint. The perpetrator did not, however, make entry into the church.
The pastor indicated that he has received multiple threats surrounding his church and online presence, however there is no indication of whom may have perpetrated this crime.
The surfaces that were vandalized include:
• The Church Sign.
• Siding flaps of a rental tent that has been the home to church services as of late.
• Rental folding chairs in said tent.
• A brick wall on the southwest exterior wall of the church.
• A vinyl-sided wall on the southwest exterior wall of the church.
• The stage / pulpit area beneath the tent where services are held.
The Wilson County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
