20191212 - City of Mount Juliet - Motor Vehicle Accident
Adams Lane near Central Pike - At approximately 5:00 PM, Fire and Emergency Medical Services were requested to the scene of a traffic crash that occurred after a vehicle attempted to evade Law Enforcement Officers.
The vehicle that fled struck another vehicle head-on while attempting to pass a vehicle over the double yellow line. The vehicle that was struck began to spin and impacted the guard rail resulting it overturning and traveling over the guardrail and sliding down an embankment. By the time officers caught up to the vehicle, the collision had already occurred.
The Fire Department of Mount Juliet and Wilson County Emergency Management Agency responded to the scene where the adult female occupant of the vehicle was entrapped and extricated her from the vehicle and transported her to a hospital.
The subjects in the fleeing vehicle were detained by law enforcement and charges are pending.
