20190608A - Unincorporated Mount Juliet - Motor Vehicle Accident
9991 Central Pike - At approximately 2:00 AM, Wilson County Sheriff's Deputies, State Troopers, and Firefighters and Medics from the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency were dispatched to the scene of a reported Car vs Pole motor vehicle accident with a possible fatality near the intersection of Logue Road and Central Pike.
Upon the arrival of Medic-10 (A Shift), it was confirmed that the sole occupant of the vehicle was deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
As Engine-5 arrived on scene, Lieutenant John Partridge [604] advised that the roadway would be closed and that the victim would need to be extricated following the arrival of the Medical Examiner.
Tennessee State Troopers, assisted by Wilson County Deputies, completed their crash investigation. Once the M.E. arrived, the victim was removed from the vehicle and transported from the scene.
Once the vehicle was removed from the scene, troopers were left with the grim task of family notification.
The cause remains under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
