221 Liberty Chapel Rd - At approximately 2:45PM, firefighters from the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency were dispatched to a report of a fully-involved van fire. Units from Stations 3 & 6 responded to the scene, as did a unit from the Wilson County Sheriff's Office.

First arriving units were Medic-31 and Engine-31 (A Shift) under the command of Captain Alan Kaiser [601]. They encountered a full size 1990's G20 Chevy Conversion Van 100% involved.

One 1.75" handline was stretched and charged and firefighters were able to extinguish the fire relatively quickly.

The owner stated that he was working on the vehicle at the time the fire started, but he was not inured.
