20180413 - Unincorporated Mount Juliet - Outbuilding Fire
10625 Central Pike - At approximately 5:15AM, Wilson County firefighters were dispatched to a report of a fully involved shed fire near a residence. The first to arrive on scene was a Wilson County Deputy Sheriff who deployed his fire extinguisher to keep the fire from reaching the home as it was extending down a fence line.
First due Engine-31 (C Shift), under the command of Lieutenant Scott Lorden [804], arrived on scene and advised he had a vehicle, a tractor, and various other debris on fire under a car port approximately 25 feet from the residence. One 1.75" handline was deployed and the fire was contained.
Second due Engine-31, under the command of Captain Steve Fox [801] arrived on scene and assisted in extinguishing the fire.
There were no injuries due to the fire, and the cause and origin is under investigation by the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency.
