20180322 - City of Lebanon - Motor Vehicle Accident
Highway 109 South @ Franklin Road - At approximately 3:35 PM, 911 received calls reporting a vehicle crash involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer. Additional reports indicated that the driver of the car was entrapped.
Responders from the Lebanon Police Department, Wilson County Sheriff's Office, Wilson County Emergency Management Agency, and the City of Lebanon Fire Department responded to the scene.
Once of the first units to arrive on the scene was Wilson County EMA Engine-51 (C Shift) under the command of Lieutenant Scott Lorden [804], followed by Medic-51. He confirmed the car vs semi accident, and advised units would be extricating one patient from a passenger vehicle. City of Lebanon Engine-3 and Squad-9 also arrived on the scene to assist.
One patient was removed from the vehicle and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. The driver of the semi was uninjured. The accident is being investigated by the City of Lebanon Police Department.
