20180102 - Unincorporated Mount Juliet - House Fire
1703 Quarry Road - At about 2:15 am, Firefighters from the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency were called out into near-zero degree tempuratures following a 911 call reporting smoke in the house.
Upon the arrival of Engine-61 (A Shift) they reported smoke showing from the roof and began to investigate the source.
Engine-31, Medic-31, Engine-51, and Tanker-91 all arrived shortly thereafter. Crews located the source of the smoke, a fire in the walls above the home's electrical panel .
Firefighters were able to quickly control and stop the spread of fire. Middle Tennessee Electric responded to the scene and removed power from the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. All occupants, and their dog (who was rescued by firefighters), were able to safely escape the home without injury.
