20170829 - City of Mount Juliet - Vehicle Fire
1345 Westwood Boulevard - At 9:44 AM, Mt Juliet Police & Fire Communications received a call from a resident advising there was a car on fire in front of their address. The Mount Juliet Fire Department was quickly dispatched, and Squad-103 [C Shift] responded along with Chief of Department Jamie Luffman[Chief-101].
Both units arrived on scene at the same time. Chief Luffman established command, and advised he had a vehicle with an engine compartment fire.
The crew from Squad-103, led by Lieutenant Drew Noland, made short work of the fire and it was extinguished in no time.
The owner of the vehicle advised that she had just had the vehicle serviced at an area warehouse-style store and they had replaced the battery. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the City of Mount Juliet Fire Department.
