20170725 - Unincorporated Lebanon - House Fire
1014 Carthage Highway - Shortly before 2:30 PM firefighters from the Wilson Emergency Management Agency were dispatched to a report of a stove fire as a result of an overheated pot of oil on the stovetop.
While they were en route, another 911 call was received from a passer by stating the house was now on fire as well.
When Engine-11 [C Shift] arrived on scene, they advised they had fire showing from a 1 story residential structure and would be making an offensive attack.
The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control. After some time of hitting hot spots and overhauling the structure it was determined that the fire was out.
Wilson EMA was assisted on the scene by the Wilson County Sheriff's Office and The Lebanon Fire Department.
One firefighter was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
