20170201 - Gladeville - House Fire
8426 Stewart's Ferry Pike - At approximately 5:15 pm Firefighters from the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency were dispatched to a report of a house on fire, just 1/3 of a mile down the road from the Gladeville Fire Station.
Engine-51 and Medic-51 wasted no time and were on scene in just a couple moments, but at the time of their arrival, the house was already 100% involved.
Lieutenant Scott Lorden [804] advised that he had fire throughout a 1 story wood frame residence and this would be a defensive operation from the start.
Additional units responded from Stations 1, 6, and 9 and firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and protect a 250 gallon liquid propane tank that was in immediate proximity to the home.
All occupants were accounted for and were uninjured. According to the Wilson Emergency Management Agency, the cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature.
