200 Crossings Lane - Just after 12:30pm, the Fire Department of the City of Mount Juliet was dispatched to a report of a dumpster fire behind the building. Upon the arrival of Assistant Chief Jamie Luffman [Chief-102], he reported that employees of Martin's Barbecue joint had discarded hot ashes in a dumpster at the rear of the building, and that Engine-104 would be extinguishing. Upon the arrival of Engine-104, chauffeured by Firefighter Kenny Hudson, Lieutenant Jason Ross and Volunteer Firefighter Max Ambriz deployed a hoseline and extinguished the fire. The business was advised to exercise more care when discarding the hot ashed from their smoker pit.
