20140820 - Unincorporated Mount Juliet - House Fire
100 Clark Drive - At approximately 4:00 pm WEMA Engine 51 was responding to a report of a tree down on a house. As they made the turn into the neighborhood they happened upon an apparent house fire. Engine 51 stopped in the driveway and the members knocked on the front door to evacuate the residents (whom at this point were unaware that their house was on fire). They radioed back to Wilson County with the situation that they had, and requested additional resources. Among those responding were FDMJ Tower Ladder-114 and Engine-104. Tower Ladder-114, chauffeured by Chief of Department Erron Kinney [Chief-101], arrived on scene and immediately set up for aerial operations. Once a viable water supply was established, Tower Ladder-114 flowed water and knocked the bulk of the fire down allowing crews to make a push from the inside. Despite limited manpower, the companies were able to make an excellent stop and protect the rest of the house from catastrophic damage.
