20140710 - City of Mount Juliet - House Fire
2128 Erin Ln - Shortly after 12:30pm, the Fire Department of Mount Juliet was dispatched to a reported structure fire. When I arrived (first) on scene, I found heavy fire conditions in the garage of a 1 1/2 story 25' x 45' private dwelling, and the occupant was safely out of the structure. A couple short moments later, Squad-103 [C Shift] arrived on scene and went to work to extinguish the blaze. Division Chief and Fire Marshal Dwayne Hicks [Chief 104] arrived on scene and established command. With FF Quintana at the pump panel and FFs Flowers & Ross made the push. Although Engine-104, Ladder-111 and Tower-114 were on their way, Additional resources from WEMA Stations 3 & 5 also responded to the scene to assist. It only took a short while to knock the main body of fire.. however overhaul would still take some time. Tower-114 (chauffeured by Chief of Department Erron Kinney) and Ladder-111 (chauffeured by Assistant Chief Jamie Luffman) arrived on scene and Ladder-111 laddered the roof as Chief Kinney assumed command. The incident was brought under control without and injuries to firefighters or civilians.
