20171102 - Hermitage - House Fire
305 Hallford Court - At approximately 5:30 PM, The Metro-Nashville Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls regarding a house on fire. Police and Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Engine-32 [A Shift] was first due and arrived to find heavy fire blowing out all windows and doors. Engine-28, Engine-15, Ladder-9, and Rescue-1 were also en route. Metro Police secured the area. Two Medic Units and Box-55 Rehab also responded. The incident Commander was District Chief Chris Downing.
It was reported by one of the neighbors that he heard a boom and his house shook, when he looked outside the garage door had been blown off the house and there was fire throughout the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but is suspicious in nature. At the time this was written, there were no reports of injuries to any civilians or firefighters.
