89 Redbrook Rd [Kings Point Park] - Firefighters were called to this scene where a deep seated fire burned beneath the ground of 1.8 acres of the the park. In some areas, as deep as 2 or more feet, this fire burned hotter than 2,000 degrees. Nearly every department in Nassau County and several from Suffolk were called to the scene to assist.
