141 Hilton Ave [Congregation Beth Israel] - The Hempstead Fire Department received a call for fire on the first floor of this temple. Upon arrival, Chief Clark [Car 80] Transmitted the Working Fire and 2nd Alarm, noting heavy fire on the #1 floor in the 1/2 Corner. Companies made quick work dousing this blaze, however overhaul would take a while longer. No injuries to members or civilians were reported.
