261 Jericho Turnpike - At about 8:30 am, 911 received a call for a car into the building at Mavis Discount Tires on Jericho Turnpike. Police, EMS, ESU, and the Fire Department were all dispatched, and it was unclear if there were any injuries. First arriving police units advised that the damage did not appear sever, and that there were no injuries at scene. Rescue 588 and 1st Assistant Chief Mark Mianulli [5801] determined there was in fact no significant structural damage, and turned the scene over tot he police department to await the arrival of the town building inspector.
