Bethpage Sate Park - The Farmingdale Fire Department responded to this section of the park following a report of a brush fire. The initial size-up was of a 100' x 100' section of deep seated woods on fire, and extending. Under the command of 2nd Assistant Chief Patrick Tortoso, Multiple mutual aid resources from the 9th Battalion of Nassau County and the 1st and 2nd Divisions of Suffolk County were called to the scene. Before completely containing the fire, it spread to an area of about 200' x 300'.
