Birch Hill Road & Elm Street - Firefighters and Rescue personnel were requested to this scene where a vehicle occupied by two women had slammed into a utility pole, resulting in injuries to both parties, and the passenger becoming entrapped in the vehicle. First due, Rescue 542 put the Hurst Jaws of Life to work to free the passenger, Glen cove EMS was called to the scene to assist, and with their help, both patients were transported to the hospital. the old Brookville Police Department is conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
