Long Island Expressway Eastbound between Exits 43 & 44 - The Jericho Fire Department was dispatched to this auto accident (initially thought to be between exits 41 & 42) where a tractor-trailer struck a pickup truck and also jackknifed. Nassau county Police Highway Patrol closed this section of the Long Island Expressway between Exits 43 & 44 until the truck could be removed.
