The Syosset Fire Department responded along with the Nassau County Police Department to a reported head-on car crash under the LIRR trestle on Woodbury Rd. The first unit on the scene confirmed the accident and reported he had 1 injured subject lying in the roadway and a second subject in the other car. Units were requested to respond on a “forthwith” basis. Both subjects were transported by ambulances to NUMC.
