Meadowbrook State Parkway s/b Just north of the toll barrier - the Roosevelt and Merrick Fire departments responded to this one car mva where the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and slid across all northbound and southbound lanes before slamming into a tree. Both the Driver and passenger were able to free themselves from the wreckage and were later transported to the hospital by Roosevelt FD EMS & NCPD EAB.
