Firefighters responded to 29 Landing Road in Glen Cove to a reported house fire. The fire, which started in the basement of this older balloon frame house, traveled up through the walls to all floors of the house. Firefighters from Glen Cove, Locust Valley, Sea Cliff, Roslyn, and Glenwood worked for a little over an hour Before 1st Assistant Chief Solomito placed the incident under control.
